Floyd McConnell, MBA, PE, is the principal at Revital Air, LLC, with experience in executive management, marketing, industrial development, engineering and product development, and production of a wide range of products with operations and business globally. His experience includes:
Vice President and General Manager for GKN Aerospace Engine Products Central. Mr. McConnell was responsible for all aspects of the central North American divisions GKN Aerospace Engine Products consisting of three plants in Ohio and a plant in Indiana. These divisions provided critical components for turbine engines in the aerospace, marine, and industrial energy sectors as well as provided critical products for oilfield production and high-performance racing engines.
Vice President, Integrated Aviation Solutions for BAE Systems and responsible for leading all Aviation elements of BAE’s Aerospace Solutions business. He presided over sustainment services, aircraft modification, depot and flight operations, avionics production and upgrades, and unmanned aircraft with programs across the USA and internationally. Before this position, Mr. McConnell was BAE Aerospace Solutions’ VP of Business Development.
Senior Director at L-3Harris in Waco, TX in charge of Air Force and Commercial programs with a broad portfolio of commercial and government programs. At L-3 he had various management roles including being the L-3 Director of Asia – Pacific programs managing maritime and other programs in the Asia Pacific rim.
Mr. McConnell began his career as an engineer and has held various technical and managerial leadership positions in addition to the above. He has an MBA from the University of Dallas, a BS in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas. He has held designations including Program Management Professional, and Senior Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers as well as holds a Certificate of Ministry from Truett Theological Seminary.
